# Chapter 362: Total Domination
The moment Mados and the others spotted McPherson and Barbara, killing intent poured off them in waves.
"McPherson!! It was you all along!!"
"Hahahaha! That's right—it's me!"
McPherson laughed, green luminescence rippling across his body as he moved to deliver a finishing blow to Lie Yuan, whose aura was weakening by the second. He intended to kill the man before anyone could intervene.
But at that instant, his raised arm refused to come down. No matter how hard he willed it to descend, the space beneath seemed to stretch into infinity. His motion appeared completely frozen.
The grin on McPherson's face turned rigid. Beside him, Barbara noticed his predicament and her eyes went wide.
The other War Gods wore expressions of stunned disbelief.
Without anyone noticing when, several new figures had appeared on the battlefield.
At their head stood Lu Yuan. Behind him were Kro, Garton, and four Mechanical Battle Saints.
Lu Yuan glanced at Lie Yuan, whose body was wreathed in green flames. Radiant power surged forth and enveloped the fire.
Instantly, every trace of green flame vanished. Under that radiant energy, Lie Yuan's body healed at a visible pace—even his severed arm regrew before their eyes.
Lie Yuan, who had been critically wounded moments ago, stared at his restored limb in stunned silence. He clenched and unclenched his newly regrown fist, then broke into a broad grin.
"You're that human! I remember you!" he said gratefully. "Thank you for saving my life—if you ever need anything from Lie Yuan, just say the word!"
He thumped his chest emphatically.
Mados, Nuxing, and the others froze at the sight of Lu Yuan, then broke into expressions of surprised delight.
"Yuan!"
"Brother Lu Yuan!"
They couldn't contain their astonishment. Hadn't word come in that Lu Yuan was locked in combat with an extraordinarily powerful Aberration monster? How could he suddenly appear here on the battlefield?
And moreover...
The aura rolling off Lu Yuan was so overwhelmingly powerful that every War God present felt a chill settle into their bones.
It wasn't just them. Even the Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts had halted their assault, watching Lu Yuan with wary, apprehensive eyes. Low growls rumbled between them as they exchanged glances, their posture betraying deep unease.
Then they noticed the figures standing behind Lu Yuan—Garton and the others.
Mados's eyes flickered rapidly. "Watch out, Brother Lu Yuan!" he called. "Those are Blood of Machinery War Gods behind you!"
Garton and Kro glanced at Mados but said nothing.
Lu Yuan blinked, then smiled at Mados.
"Senior Mados, I appreciate the warning. Don't worry—I've already brought them to heel."
Silence.
Not just Mados—every War God present wore an identical look of blank incomprehension.
You could subjugate warriors who had undergone Aberration?!
Their first instinct was disbelief. But seeing Garton and Kro standing deferentially behind Lu Yuan without so much as a twitch, they opened their mouths to object—then realized they had nothing to object with.
By all rights, Blood of Machinery's Garton and Kro should have rushed to McPherson's defense the moment they arrived. Why were they standing idle?
Had they truly been subjugated?
How was that even possible?
Every gaze fixed on Lu Yuan in shock.
Seeing that no one spoke, Lu Yuan assumed they didn't believe him. He thought for a moment, then smiled.
"Well, there happen to be a few more right here. Let me give you a demonstration."
At those words, McPherson felt an instinctive stab of dread. Green luminescence surged across his body as he struggled to break free—but every wisp of green light was pinned to his skin, sealed in place by an invisible force.
His body, too, was completely immobilized.
Barbara tried to flee, only to discover that no matter what she did, even turning around had become impossibly difficult. Terror gripped her as she stared at Lu Yuan, unable to look away.
"Garton! Kro! Snap out of it! Help us!" she cried desperately.
Kro's expression didn't change.
Garton spoke: "Serving our master is our honor."
Everyone: "..."
They stared at Garton with the strangest expressions, completely unable to reconcile those words with reality. This was supposed to be a Mechanical War God corrupted by Aberration?!
Even Barbara's jaw hung open in bewilderment.
Lu Yuan glanced at the dumbfounded Barbara and the frantically struggling McPherson, then turned his gaze to the side. In that direction, thirteen Mechanical Battle Saints were hiding. The Aberration aura clinging to them was far too conspicuous—even concealed as they were, Lu Yuan could see right through them.
With a casual wave of his hand, all thirteen materialized next to Barbara and McPherson.
Every single one of them froze. Their mechanical eyes flickered rapidly, brimming with disbelief. The moment they had seen Barbara and McPherson captured, their first instinct had been to suppress their auras completely—to ensure they stayed hidden. And yet they didn't even know when they had been transported here.
Seeing the smile on the human's face, ice ran through their circuits.
Mados, Nuxing, and the others jumped at the Battle Saints' sudden appearance as well. Even they hadn't noticed when Lu Yuan had pulled them over.
The shock in every War God's eyes deepened further. The power Lu Yuan had displayed surpassed anything they could have imagined.
And yet, recalling the report that Mechanical Battle Saint had transmitted earlier, a measure of understanding dawned. Only someone of Lu Yuan's caliber could make star systems tremble from tens of millions of light-years away.
While they were still reeling, Radiant Fire ignited across Lu Yuan's body. The terrifying flames provoked the Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts in the distance into a frenzy of growls, their auras turning savage and violent. Green light blazed around each beast as they locked onto Lu Yuan.
He noticed and turned toward them, a flicker of cold steel passing through his eyes.
He clenched his fist. In the next instant, every Divine Grade Aberrant Beast was pinned in place as Radiant Fire materialized from the void and engulfed them whole.
Agonized roars erupted from within the flames. The beasts thrashed wildly, desperate to escape, but there was no escaping.
The assembled War Gods stood rooted in place. Nuxing and the others watched wide-eyed as the beasts writhed inside the Radiant Fire.
Only when the last scream faded and the beasts' bodies crumbled to ash did the War Gods snap back to reality. They slowly turned to look at Lu Yuan. His expression was utterly calm—which only magnified their shock.
All of them working together had barely been able to suppress those Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts, and Lu Yuan had just... annihilated them, as casually as swatting flies?
A heavy silence settled over the battlefield.
Lu Yuan glanced at the remains and allowed himself a faint smile. It seemed that monsters on the level of the King of Flesh were exceedingly rare, even among Aberrant Beasts. These Divine Grade creatures were powerful in their own right, but compared to what he had become, the gap was substantial.
With ten Divine Grade genes, he far outstripped an ordinary War God. He hadn't reached Laws Rank yet, but he had already surpassed the normal bounds of the War God tier.
Lu Yuan turned his attention to the Blood of Machinery War Gods. McPherson had stopped struggling entirely. He stared numbly at the smoldering remains of the Aberrant Beasts in the distance, his mind gone blank.
*If that many Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts were slaughtered on the spot, what good would my struggling do? Might as well lie down and wait for death.*
The moment that thought crossed McPherson's mind, Radiant Fire ignited across his body—and across the others' as well. The Aberrant flesh within them sensed a mortal threat and erupted into violent rebellion. Under the flesh's backlash, McPherson, Barbara, and the Mechanical Battle Saints were all wounded in rapid succession, their injuries worsening by the second.
McPherson and Barbara fared slightly better—the Battle Saints also had to endure the residual force of the Radiant Fire itself. Lu Yuan had restrained the flames as much as he could, but even the faintest overflow was more than the Battle Saints could bear.
One by one, the Mechanical Battle Saints perished. By the time the Aberrant flesh on every Blood of Machinery member had been burned to ash, only five Battle Saints remained.
Lu Yuan surveyed the survivors and nodded with satisfaction. *That many left alive? Not bad at all.*
He withdrew the Radiant Fire. Electric sparks danced across the grievously wounded Blood of Machinery members. Lu Yuan pointed a finger, and Mechanical God activated, repairing their mechanical bodies.
In moments, every Blood of Machinery member was fully restored—virtually indistinguishable from their uninjured states.
This left Mados and the other Mechanical War Gods even more dumbfounded. That healing ability was beyond absurd. Though they were living beings, the Mechanical Race's bodies were composed of metal, fundamentally different from other races. Combat Techniques for repairing metal were far rarer than biological healing techniques, and one as powerful as Lu Yuan's was simply unheard of.
If they were ever wounded and Lu Yuan's technique was at their disposal... what would they have to fear?
While they were still processing this, an ashen metallic glow rippled from Lu Yuan's body and enveloped McPherson and the others. Every eye locked onto the area shrouded in that iron-gray light.
Moments later, the glow faded, revealing McPherson, Barbara, and the five remaining Mechanical Battle Saints. Under the gaze of every onlooker, they dropped to one knee in the void.
"Master."
Every gaze snapped to Lu Yuan. He truly did have the means to compel submission—and McPherson and Barbara were both War God-level powerhouses. If even they couldn't resist, what about the rest of them?
A collective shiver ran through the crowd.
But just as quickly, they relaxed. Lu Yuan had just obliterated over ten Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts in the blink of an eye. If he truly meant them harm, they wouldn't be able to resist in the first place. Why would he even need such a technique?
Their mouths twitched involuntarily, and they let the thought go.
Lu Yuan turned to Mados and smiled. "See? All taken care of."
Mados let out a dry laugh. "I see... As expected of Brother Lu Yuan... Truly impressive!"
Lu Yuan smiled, then continued, "By the way, Blood of Machinery has been dealt with. Let me help handle that breach next. What kind of opposition are we looking at?"
Mados and the others exchanged peculiar looks. After a pause, Nuxing pointed toward where the Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts had been.
"If I'm not mistaken... the forces guarding this breach are already dead. You killed them."
Lu Yuan blinked, genuinely taken aback. "That's all there was?"
He had expected at least a dozen more Divine Grade Aberrant Beasts and had even braced himself for the possible appearance of entities on par with the King of Flesh.
He hadn't expected... that to be it. Was that really all?
Everyone: "..."
Seeing the genuine surprise on Lu Yuan's face, they suddenly didn't feel like talking anymore.
